I’m a Clinical Psychologist, Board Approved Supervisor and Accredited EMDRAA Consultant. I am passionate about bringing about lasting change in my clients lives through the therapeutic approaches that I have learnt over the last 14 years of my career.

I have a keen interest in working with trauma both Single Incident and Childhood Trauma, Obsessive- Compulsive Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, Stress , Grief, Life Transitions, and working with individual clients who might be experiencing issues in relationships due to their prior childhood or relationship issues. I work with clients 18 + under Medicare, Private Sessions and Private Health Insurance.

I was born and raised in India and lived there until 2016. I qualified in 2011 from the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences in Bengaluru, India. I then worked in a private hospital in Mumbai for about 4 years.

I have been working in private practice in Melbourne for the last 9+ years in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

My practice is named Mantra Psychology. The word Mantra is derived from the Sanskrit language root “ man” meaning “ mind” and the suffix “ tra” meaning tool. Mantras usually focuses on a single phrase or sound. This resonates deeply with EMDR Therapy that I provide in my practice. The word Mantra also resonates deeply due to its connection to my Indian heritage.

In my free time I enjoy tending to my veggie patch, cooking, baking and finding the best masala dosa ( aka Indian rice crepes) in town!

Hi, I’m TRINETTE, the founder of Mantra Psychology

My Approach

It all begins with the intake call. I usually schedule a 15 minute obligation free intake call with all prospective clients. During that call we go over your presenting concerns, goals for therapy and assess if we are a suitable fit to work with each other. Being the right fit for each other is a very important part of my practice.
